Personal Project #3

April 12, 2015

Have you ever been in the car and driven past a location that just stands out to you? I have. There is this spot that is about 1/2 mile from my house that I drive by all the time. I have been wanting to stop and take a picture of this spot for the last 8 months and today I finally decided to do it. I had 3 different lenses with me. I had a 16-35 mm, 85 mm, and the 135 mm lenses. I shot the same spot different ways. I was happy with the result. As a wedding photographer this has been a great reminder of how I fell in love with photography. I was always capturing the world around me and I always want to be someone that continues to do that. I know these are not the most breathtaking images in the world, but they represent something more to me. They represent hitting the pause button in life to see the world around you.  To view my last personal project click here.
